OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH

At Coastal Outreach Soccer (COS), being part of our community means making a positive impact beyond the game and classroom. Our outreach initiatives provide kids with opportunities to give back, connect with others, and make a real difference in Brunswick and Southeast Georgia. Through these efforts, we foster a sense of responsibility and community spirit, empowering young people to contribute meaningfully to their surroundings.

    OUTREACH WE’VE PERFORMED

    HOLIDAY FOOD DISTRIBUTION

    COS kids collect, pack, and distribute food boxes at our Thanksgiving Give Out — hands-on lessons in compassion, teamwork, and giving back to their own community.

    Back-To-School

    COS and Darius Slay Jr. are dedicated to helping Glynn County’s youths kick-off the school year with an annual drive to donate new backpacks and school supplies to needy families.

    Nutrition Program

    In partnership with Clean Your Plate and local farmers, COS provides fresh produce to 35 families each week, totaling over 1,540 bags annually. 

    Arco Community Revitalization

    COS partnered with Glynn County, the City of Brunswick, Honeywell, Sea Island, and Rebuilding Together to revitalize a public park in Arco — the first infrastructure investment the community has seen in decades.

    Relief for Bahamas

    COS and its supporters moved to aid those impacted by Hurricane Dorian by donating two trucks of food, water, and supplies to our partner organization, Grand Bahama Soccer Club. COS continues its commitment to our friends in the Bahamas through annual community outreach projects.
